This course is designed for complete beginners who want to start reading the Qur’an correctly from the very beginning. Using a structured Qaida approach, students will learn how to recognize letters, apply vowels, and read words step by step with proper pronunciation. Students will learn: Arabic letters and their sounds Harakat (Fatha, Kasra, Damma) Joining letters into words Sukoon and Madd basics Reading simple Qur’anic words Introduction to Tajweed rules By the end of this course, students will be able to read basic Qur’anic text with confidence and accuracy. Level 1: Arabic Letters & Sounds (Foundation) Goal: Recognize and pronounce all Arabic letters correctly. What students learn: Arabic alphabet (isolated forms) Correct pronunciation (Makharij) Similar letters differentiation (e.g., ب ت ث) Listening & repetition drills Recommended Hours (1-to-1): ➡️ 8–10 hours (4–5 sessions × 2 hrs OR 8–10 sessions × 1 hr) Level 2: Harakat & Basic Reading Goal: Read letters with vowels smoothly. What students learn: Fatha, Kasra, Damma Tanween (ً ٍ ٌ) Reading 2–3 letter combinations Basic fluency exercises Recommended Hours: ➡️ 10–12 hours Level 3: Joining Letters & Word Formation Goal: Read full words confidently. What students learn: Joining letters (beginning, middle, end) Reading full words Practice with simple Qur’anic vocabulary Fluency building Recommended Hours: ➡️ 12–15 hours Level 4: Sukoon, Madd & Reading Rules Goal: Understand pauses and elongation. What students learn: Sukoon (ْ) Madd (2, 4, 6 counts basics) Shaddah introduction Reading with rhythm Recommended Hours: ➡️ 10–12 hours Level 5: Intro to Tajweed & Qur’an Reading Goal: Start reading real Qur’anic text properly.
